Marie-Line has more than 20 years of experience working and teaching in the field of mental health.  She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health, child development, and inpatient services.

Marie-Line holds a master’s degree in psychology from Laval University and is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and the Canadian Psychological Association.

Born in Quebec City, she moved to Ontario to learn English on a temporary basis after completing her master’s and enjoyed her time so much that she has never left.

She is currently a Professor and Coordinator of the Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology program at St. Lawrence College, and sits as a board member of the St. Lawrence College Research Ethics Board. 

As a Francophone, access to healthcare for the Francophone community is a key priority, she is a member of the Kingston resident committee for the improvement of access to Francophone Healthcare services in Kingston.

Marie-Line enjoys conducting research in collaboration with students and community partners to advance evidence-based practice and support quality improvement. Moreover, she highly values inclusion and acceptance.

Her expertise is provided to AMHS-KFLA as a board member as well as Kingston Community Health Centres (KCHC) in a shared role.
