Scott Semple serves as Chair of the AMHS-KFLA Board of Directors.

He has been a member of the Ontario Provincial Police for over 23 years in various roles and currently serves as the Detachment Commander of Lennox and Addington County OPP. Scott is a former board member of the Lennox and Addington Addictions and Community Mental Health Services (LAACMHS) agency, which was a legacy agency that amalgamated with others to become AMHS-KFLA in 2015.

Through his experience in the criminal justice sector as a police leader, Scott has been provided a lens to our community that allows him to see how important effective and timely supports can change outcomes for those suffering from addictions and mental health related issues. 

As a community member and police officer he hopes to share his experience and assist AMHS-KFLA continue to deliver excellent service to this community. 

Scott was raised in Loyalist Township and attended high school and university in Kingston and holds a degree in psychology from Queens University.

With a deep connection to the KFL&A area, Scott is honoured to be a member of the board of an agency that delivers such an essential service and assists in the wellness of this community.
