Questions About Medication?

Learn more about psychiatric medications at our drop-in group, facilitated by one of our staff nurses. All are welcome!

Learn tips to help make remembering to take medication easier and to help manage side effects, and ask questions to our Registered Nurse facilitator. We meet the second Friday of each month from 1-2 pm at 552 Princess Street, Kingston. NOTE: This group is not intended to provide individualized medical advice. If you have questions or concerns about your specific medication, please contact your prescriber or doctor.

Day Treatment*

Provides daily contact for individuals requiring more intensive support than individual or group counselling can offer, who may be seeking an alternative to residential treatment.  Participants are required to achieve some abstinence in the community prior to starting the program and commit to attending 5 half days per week for 4 weeks. The program guides participants through the process of change, offering supportive strategies for self-care, stress management, emotional regulation, communication and relapse prevention, with a focus on building healthy relationships and self-esteem.
