Kingston, ON – April 10, 2026 – Addiction and Mental Health Services – Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington (AMHS-KFLA) confirms our continued commitment to the individuals we serve within our community and at the Integrated Care Hub (ICH) in Kingston by way of leading the development and transition of our current model to a HART Hub.
This announcement of a HART Hub will bring increased resources in support of the most vulnerable people in our community through the provision of quality integrated health and social services. It ensures that AMHS-KFLA can continue to and expand upon our collaborations with our many system partners in the delivery of care to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
We know this announcement comes with the impending closure of the Consumption and Treatment Services (CTS) site, located at the ICH, currently operated by KCHC, on September 30th, 2026.
The programs at the ICH operated by AMHS-KFLA remain open as we navigate this next phase. The ICH continues to be a welcoming, low-barrier place for community and connection as we work towards a smooth transition to a HART Hub on October 1, 2026.
We understand this is a transition for our clients, partners and community as a whole and are working closely with service providers to plan for this change. The outreach and support we have received to date from those who provide health and social services in our community has been greatly appreciated, as well as the support from the City of Kingston for the development of a HART Hub.
Services at the Access & Support Centre remain available daily from 9:45 AM to 6:30 PM for community members to connect to basic-need services such as washrooms, showers, meals, beverages, and storage for belongings. Those accessing the drop-in space can also meet with case managers, request access to additional supports, and make community connections.
More information about the Integrated Care Hub, including the Access & Support Centre, is available at www.integratedcarehub.ca.
